As always, playing your favourite hero and just having fun should be the most important thing instead of trying to pick the "best" heroes or flavour of the month. But we do understand its not fun anymore when you keep dying or losing because your hero just does not match up well compared to its peers.
Since the game does not open up all its heroes for selection and require the player to invest Battle Points (BP) or its premium currency Diamonds to buy them, its even more critical to pick a good hero to main and rank up. A player can earn up to 8,500 BPs a week and the typical cost of a hero is about 32K BPs or 599 diamonds. This means that you can either grind for 1 month in order to unlock your hero for free with BPs, or pay about US$10 to get it with Diamonds (check out our previous article here to understand how we estimate the dollar worth of each Diamond).

While all Tier Lists are subjective in nature, and heavily influenced by a player's skill level (e.g. if you are leet, you can pick any "D" hero and still dominate your match), picking a "S" or "A" tier hero tends to give you the most advantages in today's meta.

What is Mobile Legends / MLBB?
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game that was released in November 2016. Since then, the game has racked up over 500 million downloads and has 75 million active players according to Moonton, the Shanghai-based developer.
Immensely popular in South-East Asia, the game has properly structured esports leagues (MPL / MLBB Professional League) in countries like Indonesia, Philippines , and Malaysia/Singapore ongoing. Moonton also hosted its first ever MLBB World Championship (better known as M1) in Nov 2019 with a total cash prize pool of US$250,000 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The game was even included as one of the official esports in the 2019 South-East Asia (SEA) Games, together with the mainstream sporting events. The game is taking the mobile esports arena by storm, one step at a time.
